Peppermint Martini Recipe

Making spirits bright, am I right? It is Christmas week, so let the festivities begin! I will be doing some last-minute shopping this week but also relaxing and spending as much time with my family as I can. I always look forward to the fellowship that comes with Christmas and I love creating yummy cocktails that everyone loves! Peppermint martinis are the perfect Christmas drink to put you in a festive mood!

I recently turned 21 in March of this year so when it comes to alcoholic drinks, I am still learning what I like. I made this peppermint martini a little bit too strong when I first made it so if you like sweater alcoholic drinks, I suggest a touch of vodka and a touch of peppermint schnapps if you do not want your drink too pepperminty. Other than that, I personally found that this drink tastes like peppermint egg nog and it is super yummy to sip on!

Peppermint Martini Recipe

-Melted chocolate chips for rim

-crushed candy canes for rim

-6 oz. White Chocolate Liqueur

-4 oz. Vodka (if you do not like to taste alcohol in your drink I suggest skipping this or pouring barely any)

-2 tbs. heavy cream

-Ice

-Small candy canes to garnish

Start by garnishing the rim with the melted chocolate and then dipping it into the crushed candy canes. Once you have done that, add the rest of the melted chocolate to the bottom of the cup and then put the cup in the freezer to chill for 5 minutes. Next, mix together white chocolate liqueur, vodka, heavy cream, and ice in a shaker. Shake it until the bottle feels cold and then you are ready to pour!

This drink is so yummy and I love how you can make it sweet or more bitter by adding more alcohol if that is what you prefer! Let me know if you try this drink and what you think in the comments below! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
