The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is right around the corner and while the sale hype has died down a little bit over the years, it's still a really great time to snag some deals. What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is an annual sale that Nordstrom holds where they have great deals on designer items for fall. All the items on sale are new arrivals so you're getting a great deal on the newest trends and styles! After the sale, Nordstrom restocks all the items for the fall, however, all the items are full price. I personally love the Nordstrom Anniversary sale because it sends the tone for the trends for the upcoming season and I really love the brands and the quality of the items for the price you get them.
How Do I know When I am Able to Shop The Sale
The downfall about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I don't particularly love is that they are levels for when everyone can shop the sale. The levels are all based on the status of being a Nordstrom card holder and how much shopping you have done with the card that year. This year, they have knocked out the insider level which will hopefully make stuff more available to everyone!
So Should I Become A Card Holder
Used to, as a card holder, you would be able to shop early as an insider and all you would have to do is own the card and not buy anything with it. However, this year since they don't have the insider level, I don't see the point in owning the Nordstrom Card Holder if you don't already own one because you can't shop early.
What Should I Know Before Shopping the Sale
First off, you WILL feel pressured to buy stuff because the sale is notorious for selling out quick. Just remember that the stuff comes back in stock after the sale and while yes, the prices are not as good, Nordstrom still runs sales on the items so if you really love an out-of-stock item, you can still get it. I always tell people it is good to stick to your budget and don't just buy something just because you want something from the sale. I can't tell you how many times I wanted several things from the sale that sold out and I still bought something just because of the hype of the sale. I ended up never wearing those items so watch out on being sucked into the sale.

What Were The best Sellers From Last Year
I rounded up a few of the best sellers from last year. What I noticed is that shackets were a huge hit last year and they were the "big ticket" item to purchase.
I will be coveringg a lot of the sale so if you don't know where to start or whats good, I got your girlfriend. I will also be sharing a lot of dupes of the most popular items during the sale. It can be such a bummer when you miss out on an item during the sale, but I find that the dupes are just as good.
