What a whirlwind of the year 2021 was. I cannot beleive that we are already in 2022! I started to do these yearly recaps beginning last year, and I love being able to say thanks to all of you and unfold the year that we had together! This year was a fantastic year for The Trendy Gal, and I could not be more grateful for every one of you.
This year was a challenging year for me, and honestly, I had no clue what would unfold. From beginning my senior year of college, being single for the first time since I was 15 years old, taking on my first internship, I had many moments asking God when we would give me a break. I didn't realize that this year would be the start of a lot of growth for me. I can say that 2021 was full of unexpected and uncomfortable.
What comes with growth is blossoming. As I look back at the beginning of 2021, I am not the gal I was starting the year. I feel more independent and driven to do what I want to do. I know that sounds selfish, but coming from someone who has never really put herself first when making decisions, this is a big deal for me.
I am so thankful you all grew with me this past year and that I got to laugh and cry with all of you. I know many of you all went through break-ups this past year, and I honestly cannot thank you all enough for helping me get through it and not feel alone. This community truly blesses me, and I look forward to more growth in 2022.
