The Fall Dress Trend Everyone is Wearing
Lately, I have been sharing with you all a lot of trendy outfits. I feel like it only fits since I am The Trendy Gal! Leather is another trend that I am currently loving, and when it is styled well, it can make you look so chic!
I have only ever owned a pair of black leather shorts and a leather jacket previous to this season. I usually steer clear of leather because it is edgy and not very girly. However, I have learned how to style things that might be considered "edgy" and make them a little bit softer. For instance, I paired this leather dress from Forever 21 with my all-time favorite boots from Steve Madden. They have a bit of pink in them, so I feel like it adds a touch of me to this edgy look.
Here are a few suggestions I have for styling a leather dress for fall. If you want a more casual look, try a pair of sneakers or a pair of booties. If you want to dress it up a bit more, try a pair of tall brown leather boots. Make sure, if you are wearing a black leather dress, that the brown compliments the black. I suggest a chocolate brown or something close to that or even a camel color or a burgundy. Lastly, if you want to try something more fashion-forward, wear a pair of printed/patterned tall boots. I paired my dress with a pair of snakeskin boots, and I loved how trendy it looked.
One thing I always want to help you all with is trying new trends. I get told a lot from you all how it can be scary to try new things, but I promise, it is so fun trying out new outfits and really diving into your style. After all, fashion is a reflection of you and your personality. Every time I wear an outfit out that I am nervous about, I end up having the most confidence and feel so good in my skin! I encourage you all to step out of your comfort zone and try something.
