Happy Valentines Day! Threw my annual Galentine's Day party this past weekend and it was one for the books. Out of all the parties I have thrown, this one was definitely my favorite! I always get a lot of questions about how I throw parties, especially my Galentines Day parties, so I'll spill all my secrets in this post!
I love celebrating Galentines Day because I appreciate my friends so much and I love showing my friends how much I love them by hosting parties. I also love Galentines because of all the pink, duh! I always try to use local vendors for Galentines Day because I love sharing boss babes who are working their butts off to create cute events!
The Dusty Picnic
The Dusty Picnic is a luxury picnic service owned by Kaitlin. Kaitlin is the sweetest human ever and definitely has a knack for setting up a luxurious picnic. Every little detail that she added was so perfect! Pretty much everything you see in these photos was provided by The Dusty Picnic. Plates, silverware, drinkware, table, pillows, napkins, candles, literally everything. The best part, it was so easy as a party planner. All my friends kept asking me how hard it was to plan all the details for this party. Honestly, this was the smoothies and easiest party to ever plan thanks to The Dusty Picnic. I 100% recommend The Dusty Picnic for your birthday, a date night, or just a brunch with the girls! I will definitely be contacting Kaitlin again soon!
Alphalit Lubbock
This is my second time using Alphalit Lubbock and they never disappoint. These marquee letters are so in and trendy and add the perfect photo op for any event. I did the XO lights last year and everyone loved it so I did it again. You can do any word or phrase and the best part is they have a sister account called Confetti Skies that will do balloons for your event as well so it is a 2 in one! Alphalit has several locations all around the country, I know they have a few in Houston, so definitely check them out if you haven't. I can't wait to use Alphalit for my grad party this upcoming May but they are perfect for birthdays, engagements, and even weddings!
Cher Can Do It
I have learned that the finishing touch to any backdrop is balloon garland and when Cher Can Do It reached out to me, I just had to say yes. Cher creates the cutest DIY balloon kits and let me tell you, she makes it so dang easy! There were so many balloons and foil letter balloons in one kit and it was so nice not having to purchase everything separately like I usually do. I have never done a balloon kit before, but after this one from Cher, I will probably never go back to buying individual balloon packs again. She has so many kits for every occasion, bachelorette, birthday, and even holidays!
Fringe Backdrop Wall
Out of all the backdrops I have made, this one is probably my favorite (and I've made a lot)! This backdrop seems a lot harder to make than it actually is. When it comes to making party decorations, I always choose the easiest way to make something. These fringe wall backdrops usually include you tying them to a mesh garden wall. That is way too time-consuming for me so after watching a few YouTube videos, my roommate and I came up with the easiest way to make this backdrop. It didn't take us too long and a few tablecloths go a long way. I will have a YouTube video up Tuesday explaining how to make it if you are curious!
I am so sad that this was my last Galentines party in Lubbock, but it for sure isn't my last Galentines party.
